Description
INCREASED OIL CAPACITY
The IAG EJ Street Series Oil Pan Package for the Subaru WRX, STI, LGT and FXT features a unique design that has been CNC machined to handle a broad spectrum of street and track applications. Made of sturdy cast aluminum, this Street Series Oil Pan is designed to fit a variety of popular headers while increasing oil capacity by up to 30% compared to Subaru’s factory version.
COOLER OIL TEMP & BOTTOM FACING DRAIN PLUG
The IAG EJ Street Series Oil Pan uses external cooling fins to dissipate the heat from the oil as air flows across them. It also features a bottom facing drain plug that provides easy service access and ensures that any remaining waste oil is eliminated during maintenance changes. The EJ Street Series Oil Pan has a 1/8th inch NPT port which is compatible with several popular oil temperature sensors. In the case that the sensor port will not be used, this oil pan package comes with a 1/8th inch plug to seal up the port.
THERMAL DISPERSANT COATING
The IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan features a layer of thermal dispersant coating, which allows the pan to transfer heat from the metal surface to the surrounding air even faster than bare metal. Our thermal dispersant coating not only provides a clean black finish, but it also keeps your oil temperature cooler and helps to increase the lifespan of your oil pan by protecting your oil pan from extreme temperature differentials.
PRECISION ENGINEERED
The IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan Package is packed with several thoughtfully designed elements, such as its precision CNC machined upper flange mounting surface, which allows for an exact fit to the vehicle, as well as better hardware fitment. The EJ Street Series Oil Pan comes with a molded o-ring, and it is not necessary to seal it with silicone when installing. The EJ Oil Pan uses an OEM-style crush washer, so there is no need to source specialty parts for servicing. The pan is designed to use the included factory-style Viton dipstick o-rings and it features a uniquely designed chamfer to help with the installation of the dipstick, as well as to prevent oil leaks.
STAINLESS STEEL OIL BAFFLE
IAG Performance’s EJ Street Series Oil Pan Package includes an internally integrated stainless steel oil baffle. This baffle is designed to prevent oil movement within the pan, which can lead to cavitation or even oil starvation. The baffle is removable to allow for future upgrades and easy cleaning. Unlike welded baffles, the IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan Baffle won’t crack due to vibration.
THE IAG WINDAGE TRAY
The IAG Windage Tray is designed to guide oil from the upper crankcase into the lower crankcase and oil pan area. It is constructed of stainless steel and features precisely formed louvers that channel oil downward. This prevents oil that is draining from the cylinder heads in the lower crankcase area from splashing up towards the crankshaft and connecting rods.
THE IAG V2 OIL PICKUP
The IAG V2 Oil Pickup is designed to replace the OEM EJ25 oil pickup which is prone to failure. It’s widely known that the OEM Subaru oil pickups often develop cracks and fail, leading to engine damage due to insufficient oil pressure. To prevent the cracking problems often seen in OEM oil pickup tubes, the IAG oil pickup is constructed from heavy-gauge steel tubing. This tubing is TIG welded and has twice the thickness of the original, preventing cracks and potential engine damage. It also has a 3/8″ stainless steel flange which has been precisely machined to fit with the block and sealed with a Viton O-ring. The V2 Oil Pickup has an integrated stainless steel mounting bracket and is supported by two mounting points, unlike the OEM design with a single mounting point. The increased material thickness, along with the two-point heavy-duty mounting brackets help to protect the pickup against fatigue and failure.
