IAG now offers our V2 Oil Pickup, Competition Series Baffle and Windage Tray combined with our Competition Oil Pan finished in black as a complete package. This bundle is designed to work together as a complete unit. The IAG EJ Competition Series Oil Pan Package includes all the necessary components and hardware to replace the oil pan on your WRX, STI, Legacy GT or Forester XT Subaru, saving you the inconvenience of having to hunt down specialty parts.


Install Notes:

  • IAG oil pickup spacer is included and required when using the IAG oil pickup.
  • Flaps should be inspected every 12-24 months depending on use.
  • Subaru EJ25 dipstick (Part# 11140AA150) is required when using an IAG Oil Pan on the 02-05 WRX EJ20 engine.

GREATER OIL CAPACITY

The IAG EJ Competition Series Oil Pan Package is designed for Subaru WRX, STI, LGT, and FXT models. Its unique CNC machined design It features a special CNC-machined design suitable for various street and track uses. Made from durable cast aluminum, it is compatible with several popular headers and increases oil capacity by up to 30% compared to the OEM version.


REDUCED OIL TEMP & BOTTOM FACING DRAIN PLUG

The Competition Series Oil Pan uses cooling fins to aid in heat dissipation from the oil as air passes over them. It also features a bottom facing drain plug for easy maintenance access and to ensure complete removal of any remaining waste oil during services. The pan has a 1/8th inch NPT port that is compatible with several popular temperature sensors. If you decide not to use the sensor port, this oil pan package comes with a 1/8-inch plug to seal the opening.


PRECISION ENGINEERED

The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan Package features several thoughtfully designed elements. The upper flange surface is precision-machined for better hardware fitment and includes a molded sealing O-ring for easier installation and removal. There’s no need to apply silicone sealant to the flange during installation. The EJ Oil Pan uses an OEM-style crush washer, eliminating the need to search for specialized parts for servicing. The pan is designed to use the included OEM style Viton dipstick o-rings and has a unique chamfer to aid in the installation of the dipstick.


THERMAL DISPERSANT COATING

The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan features a layer of thermal dispersant coating, which allows the pan to transfer heat from the metal surface to the surrounding air even faster than bare metal. Our thermal dispersant coating not only provides a clean black finish, but it also keeps your oil temperature cooler and helps to increase the lifespan of your oil pan by protecting your oil pan from extreme temperature differentials.


THE COMPETITION SERIES OIL BAFFLE

The IAG Competition Series Oil Baffle is designed to reduce blow-by and protect your Subaru’s engine from oil starvation during high RPM and G-force driving situations. The Comp Series Baffle is intended for track use, but it is also suitable for street driving applications. This baffle incorporates Viton one-way flapper valves designed to keep oil in the area closest to the pickup. When paired with the louvers in our optional windage tray, our baffle prevents oil from returning to the upper crankcase area and directs it downward into the oil pan, providing a consistent oil supply to the pickup. IAG’s built-in oil baffle is compatible with the IAG V2 oil pickup and various other popular oil pickups.


THE IAG WINDAGE TRAY

The IAG Windage Tray directs the oil from the upper crankcase down into the lower crankcase and oil pan area. Constructed of stainless steel, its precision-formed louvers guide oil downward and help to keep oil that is draining from the cylinder heads in the lower crankcase area from splashing upwards into the path of the crankshaft and connecting rods, reducing aeration.


THE IAG V2 OIL PICKUP

The IAG V2 Oil Pickup is an upgraded replacement for the failure-prone OEM EJ25 oil pickup. The OEM Subaru oil pickups are known for their tendency to develop cracks and fail, ultimately causing engine damage due to inadequate oil pressure. In order to prevent the cracking failures observed in OEM oil pickup tubes, IAG’s V2 Oil Pickup is constructed from heavy-gauge steel tubing that is twice as thick as the OEM counterpart. It also has a 3/8″ stainless steel flange which has been precisely machined to fit with the block and sealed with a Viton O-ring. The V2 Oil Pickup has an integrated stainless steel mounting bracket and is supported by two mounting points, as compared to the OEM version that uses only one single mounting point. The increased material thickness and dual mounting points enhance the pickup’s durability and reduce the risk of fatigue and failure.
